we’re doing the dang thing.

for years I told myself I would create this space – somewhere really cute and really pretty that I could be creative, share all the things I love – family, travel, food, entertaining, etc. and just be. be in the moment – celebrating the goodness of life through the little things while working through the hard. so this year I am going for it. in 2025 I am jumping into the world of romanticizing life in a new state, navigating motherhood but prioritizing my marriage, working a corporate job and creating space and sharing all things from lifestyle, DIY’s with Dad, entertaining, attempting to make my house a home on a budget, finding new and nurturing current friendships and so many other things. the key here though is pretty. think, Carrie Bradshaw meets Martha Stewart, meets Queen Elizabeth II meets Olivia Pope. following?

Anyway, this is probably where you say, “but how? how in the world are you going to find the time for all of that and then share it here” and I am going to take a delayed sip of my Moscow Mule in my fancy, cute cup and say, “idk, Linda. but we are going to try.”

For almost everything in my life I have needed a plan before I would start, and where a plan isn’t a bad thing (its who I am..) it can cause so much overthink and ultimately we just don’t not start at all.. So, I haven’t given much thought to the time table of it all – I am too excited.

so what can you expect? all of the above and more but less writing that your normal blog – let’s just cut to the good parts. less of the fluffy words and more of the pretty pictures. as I go, I will share more and more and hopefully what feels right will just find its way, creating the space we can learn and grow together.
